In the Valbelluna territory, more and more young people are choosing to “return to the land”. This is the case of “Pascolando”, an agricultural cooperative founded by a group of friends who have chosen to dedicate themselves to raising dairy cattle for cheese production. To do this, they have reopened Malga Van, an alpine hut, transforming the milk they produce in the old rotational dairy of Valmorel.

The commitment of the members of “Pascolando” is exemplary and the cooperative firmly sticks to the principle that “everyone shall do everything”. Everything is shared with the logic of the rotation applied in the Valmorel dairy.

In turn, the members of “Pascolando” take over the management of the animals, the farmhouse accommodation and the sale of the cheeses at Malga Van.
