Founded in 2010 as the San Damiano Cooperative, in late 2024 Alessandro and Alice transformed it into the “Il Colle del Tiglio” agricultural company. They raise Alpine brown cows in a semi-wild state, respecting their time and needs and natural dynamics.
They produce, with their precious milk, yoghurt and ricotta, soft and fresh cheeses, as well as semi-cooked and aged cheeses.
The whey becomes an integral part of the pigs’ breeding, with which mainly sausages are produced.
Rabbits, ducks and chickens also live here, as well as many wild species, from foxes to roe deer, from frogs to buzzards, which in the area of the ponds and near the surrounding woods find peace and harmony, but above all the respect due to them.
